The chickens are coming soon. I have already built their coop at my parents house where they have better facilities for that kind of thing. This video is a time laps of when I got all the bits home and assembled them. It covers about 2 hours. At the end it is not completely finished. I have since added the metal mesh to keep the chickens in, but you get an idea of the structure.
It is a 2 level design which aims to maximise the ground floor space, giving the chickens the most grass to eat and walk on as possible by having the living area suspended above at a hight of about 60cm. you can find more details and a pic of the finished product on on my blog post about it.

I’ve had good results with zucchini, eggplant, squashes, tomato’s of course, and lettuce, also chard and most leafy greens for that matter are very easy to grow. Nastursums are also a good addition if you like edible flowers, they take no care, and they look beautiful.
