I have two lovely …
I have two lovely hens in a backyard coop larger than this one and they still complain it is not spacious enough. But they don’t mind if they get out a bit during the day. How many are you planning to keep? Watch out for the cat and other predators! Also, stainless steel feeders and waterers are great. Hope to see more videos.
The run is for when …
The run is for when I don’t let them out. Usually they have run of the yard and are very happy. If I close it up, they still have a little run.
I have 4 ladies. They seem happy, but complain if confined to the run. Their feeders are flower pot saucers. 1 big one for food and 2 small ones for grit and oyster shells. That works and I didn’t have to buy feeders. I have an old plastic waterer from my cats. Not ideal, but works. Have to clean it regularly and have a bowl of water available also.
