That chicken looks totally blessed, that is amazing-
I can tell, that bond is real and that is the way we humans should live. In harmony with plants and animals, that is.

    vegan is only one …
vegan is only one guideline of a diet. just because one does not eat animal products does not mean he cannot eat fat/protein. many of the most high quality fats/protein come from plants.. coconuts, avocados, nuts/seeds, grains, greens, algae. it is possible to have a balanced diet from plants.

    Icertainly don’t …
Icertainly don’t know anybody like that, I’ve been a vegan and raw foodist for over 10 years and I am 5′8″ 168pnds solid, athletic. and that’s no all….I am 44 years old and have more energy and endurance than most 20’s something guys. I know I play hoops every evening with them and I keep going on after 5 games while thy sit on their being tired.

  • jibarorock says:

    rncmomx,

    Your …
    rncmomx,

Your need to read and learn before you open up your mouth, or in this case before you typeanything.
No we don’t need protein from animals, ALL THE PROTEINS you need are in plant, specifically on green leafy plants.
A cow, a horse, a buffalo all eat only green leafy plants and ALL of them get to weight +1000pnds. Those animals really need Protein to grow and sustain their huge muscular structures.

    I can spot a vegan …
I can spot a vegan /vegetarian a mile away, and it’s not because they have salads in there hands. Vegans and Vegetarians have the same characteristics, you may not notice them but others do. The shallow look in the eyes of a Vegan/Vegetarian is one of the saddest looks ever-so hollow and empty. The cheeks of long time Vege are sunken and pale (along with the rest of there skin). Beleive me I meet up with alot of veges everyday, and they always look the same.

    “It is the position …
“It is the position of the American Dietetic Association that appropriately planned vegetarian diets, INCLUDING total vegetarian or VEGAN diets, are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and may provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. Well-planned vegetarian diets are appropriate for individuals during all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, and adolescence, and for athletes.”

  • fissomad says:

    Your 2 aunts are …
Your 2 aunts are not representative of all vegans. I am a vegan, 1,71m for 62 kg, very healthy, and athletic, all most of my vegan friends are very well, not more skinny than non vegan ones. Unfortunately, some people decide to go vegan , and they don’t care enough of their food, so that they generate carencies and bad health (same 4 omnivorous). But that comes from their ignorance, lack of information, but not from diet. I advise you to read the Position of the American Dietetic Association.

  • rncmomx2 says:

    Animals may be …
Animals may be closer but we still eat them for a reason…protein. Don’t give me the bull about you can get all the protein you need from plants…you can’t! I have 2 aunts who have been vegan all there life, they are emaciated, skin is flabby with no elasticity, cheeks are sunken, they look about 20 years older (all vegans and vegetarians I have ever seen look like this)…it comes from no fat in there diet. A balanced diet should include rations from all groups (including meat).

  • fissomad says:

    Not only your last …
    Not only your last sentence….

  • fissomad says:

    In case you don’t …
In case you don’t know it, animals are much closer to humans than plants are (basics of biology, that you learn at primar school : existance of a nervous system or not), because humans ARE animals… In the respect for animals, I INCLUDE humans…. Being vegan, don’t prevent to help humans… i.e I also support humanitarian organizations, and I also refuse, as much as I can, to buy products resulting of human exploitation. Your last sentence is pointless.

  • rncmomx2 says:

    OMG you eat plants! …
OMG you eat plants! Those pour little things, do they not bleed when you cut/pick them (uh yeah actually they do). How dare you be so thoughtless as to use them to keep yourself alive.

Why on earth did you bring the race card in here? That is like comparing apples to oranges, one has nothing to do with the other.

Please be respectful of your fellow human beings just as you claim to be for the animals, whether you agree or not.

  • MrChickendog says:

    how do you deal …
how do you deal with the flys in the cit thanks. I just posted my chicken video. I am inspired thanks
