We have delayed buying chickens and taking care of them for years seeing as we did not have time to build a chicken house for them. A couple of years ago, after our business had grown and things had been going smoothly, we finally found time to build a chicken house and get some chickens. Our children like going out every morning and picking up the eggs that the hens lay. Of course, when you intend on using the eggs the eggs for food, you will need to hold the chickens separated from the eggs. Otherwise, you may break an egg and discover a horrible surprise.
